EMT Lesson Two How to build musical scales
The ‘natural’ minor is also known as the ‘relative’ minor. This means it is related to a major scale. This relationship will be explained later in the course in ‘How to understand key signatures’.
A natural minor scale is formed by the following sequence of intervals:
Tone, Semitone, Tone, Tone, Semitone, Tone, Tone

The notes of the A natural (relative) minor scale are therefore: A,B,C,D,E,F,G,A
