EDS Lesson Eight Phrasing Part 2 (developing phrasing for fills)
The first step is to understand the position of each of the accents within the phrase and which hand each of the accents is played with.
You will see that I have written the exercise for our first phrase out twice. Firstly, showing the position of the accents; and secondly, which hand plays each of the accents.
To begin with, we will simply play the phrase on the snare drum. Let us have look at the exercise in detail.
