Lesson Objectives

Creating phrases from accents

We have the ability now to play each of the four accents available to us, using sixteenth notes.

The true aim of these two lessons is to use that ability to play combinations of accents to create musical phrases.

Have a look at our phrasing example again, to remind us what we are trying to achieve. This time, I have included the musical exercise for you to look at.
