EKS Lesson Eight Introducing minor scales
Because of the layout of the keyboard, it is possible to transfer what you have learned to other notes. For example, you can transfer the minor scale to begin on D and play a D minor scale.
The notes for D minor are:
D, E, F, G, A, Bb, C, D
Let us play the D minor scale. Again, developing fluency and timing and trying to remember the notes that make up the scale of D minor. Once again the blue notes are our minor triad.
