Left hand finger technique using the 3rd finger

Playing an A on the E string using the 3rd finger.

So far we have played the notes of A, G, C and D using only the first (index) finger of our left hand. The next step is to use other fingers of the left hand. This will make it easier to play rock grooves which move around the notes more quickly.
